Today, I finished nailing down the last piece of track in the north bedroom. The track is all wired up and works.
A few stats…
198’ of track including 41 turnouts
108 track feeders
23 ‘industries’
68 car spots
Still to be done…name the 4 ‘towns’, name the ‘industries’, reinstall the ties that were removed where the feeders are, start working on JMRI setup and on and on. Here are a few photos
Once the ties are installed, I’ll paint the track.

A lot…yes, but not compared to the over 1500’ I had in the Habitat. But, it’s also a lot less to keep clean. 😉 I did this room first because it has more track than the other bedroom will.

Very interesting design. Lot of complicated switching.

Thanks Ter. I was running that Conrail switcher moving a few cars around and at a slow switching speed and using momentum and MAN it’s gonna take a long time to switch cars! No racetrack running here!
