South bedroom valance finished

The dreary weather has cooled off around here putting a pause on our outside cleanup work. I finished the valance today after installing the recently received LED strip lights. The valance fascia went up quickly and I then installed the first 24 x 96” section of benchwork that’s been ready to go for almost 2 months. I started on the next 96” section in the workshop. Once that’s installed, the shorter, fill-in sections will be fabricated.

The first south bedroom benchwork section with the hole to the north bedroom. West wall on the left.
South wall on the left, west wall on the right.
The south wall with closet on the left. There’ll be no benchwork in this closet.
Beginnings of the next 96” section on my work table in the workshop.
The valance behind the door will be over a 3 inch strip of benchwork.
