North bedroom benchwork is finished

I finished up the benchwork by installing four triangles of OSB at the three corners of the benchwork and at the east end of the south wall by the light switch. These triangles will give me a little more room for track curves at the corners and extend the tracks slightly along the south wall.

I then cut the hole into the south wall for the track to connect the two rooms. My oscillating tool made cutting the hole a breeze. I’ll finish the opening with a floor of OSB and sides and top of tempered hardboard. All the pieces will probably just be hot glued in place.

Next on the agenda is the valance construction in the south bedroom. Stay tuned.
