This blog is a new undertaking for me and I hope to maintain a record of my progress.
The Railroad will be built in 2 bedrooms of my home with a hole cut through the common wall between them. There currently isn’t a trackplan but I do have a plan for the benchwork which will be built around the walls.
The Railroad will be a freelanced modern diesel era switching affair using Digitrax wireless DCC control as was my former Chicago & Western Illinois Railroad.

Hi Jeff. Thanks for visiting the blog. I don’t have a set-in-stone track plan yet. The basic rundown is it’ll be strictly a switching railroad. No through trains. No continuous runs. Flat terrain. JMRI Ops. Same locos and cars that were on the CWI. Digitrax. WiThrottles. I’ll detail more in a future post.
