Let me fascia-time ya

I’ve made a decision on the valance fascia height. The fascia will be 6” tall overall with 4” hanging below the valance OSB and 1-1/2” extending above. This puts the ‘window’ from the top of the benchwork to the bottom of the fascia at 20”. The bottom of the fascia is right at my eye level if I look straight ahead. Using cardboard, I’ve mocked up some of the fascia and temporarily stapled it to the valance. The 6” height should be good enough for track diagrams or maps where needed. I’ll probably paint the fascia black.
