First valance panels painted

Today, I cut the first 1/2” OSB panels to be used as the valance. I used OSB because I had it on hand, it’s rigid and it’s cheap. The panels are 19” by 48”. These will be fastened to the valance brackets with 10-24 x 1” machine screw, a fender washer and a nut. The panels here have a quick coat of Kilz 2 latex primer. Once I get a couple of these mounted, I’ll decide if this is the way to proceed.
